Scorpion Records - victim of redevelopment

This vid was made in 2005 when Eden was still a drawing on a piece of paper. This legendary record shop - the psychogeographical epicentre of my Wycombe - has been swept away by an extension built onto the front of Sainsbury's supermarket.

I remember Scorpion well, also Sun Music, the music shop which was there before which gets a brief mention by Jeff in the film. Both (along with the much 'squarer' Percy Priors in the Octagon, and the Nags Head where I saw nearly all of the English punk bands before punk became 'famous') were an integral part of the High Wycombe 'music' scene throughout my teenage years.

Happy daze....
